Volume Two:
Production Notes
Back once again, Volume 2 of Full Tilt is ready to roll!  We’ve got another disc that’s packed to the gills with great remixes so let’s see what’s on tap for our sophomore release!

01. THREE SIX MAFIA – “Poppin’ My Collar” (73 BPM)
Up first is the latest from Oscar award winners Three Six Mafia. Ben gives us a solid reworking of “Poppin’ My Collar”, complete with clean intro and outro and a little extra boost in the percussion department.
02. BOW WOW (FEAT MIKE JONES) – “Fresh Azimiz” (80 BPM)
Bow Wow ain’t so “Lil” anymore, but his latest has been doing big things on the charts recently. Ben worked from the remix of “Fresh Azimiz”, featuring guest vocals by Mike Jones, and delivers a simple but effective ready-to-mix version of this crossover hit.
03. NICKELBACK – “Savin’ Me” (82 BPM)
Yet another smash in the string of hits from Nickelback, “Savin’ Me” is sure to pick up where “Photograph” left off. Marcus gives the song the Full Tilt treatment by tapping up the original tempo ever so slightly and adding just a bit of extra percussion to the song; the end result is a remix that’s sure to work well in your next rock set!
04. NE-YO – “When You’re Mad” (87.5 BPM)
Ben delivers a clean and straightforward remix of Ne-Yo’s sophomore single, “When You’re Mad”, adding just a touch of extra percussion under the original track and giving the song a much needed intro and outro.
05. DADDY YANKEE – “Rompe” (88 BPM)
Reggaeton is alive and well in ’06 and that’s evident with the recent success of “Rompe”. Marcus gives us a solid intro and build-up to the song by re-arranging pieces of the original rhythm and synth parts. The remainder of the remix stays true to the original, adding only a clean transition piece at the end to mix cleanly out of.
06. MATISYAHU – “King Without A Crown” (94 BPM)
Another multi-format hit for Volume 2, this time from newcomer Matisyahu and his debut single “King Without A Crown”. Much as we love the live version, we opted to work from the studio version - we gave the track a simple, ready-to-mix work-over by adding some additional percussion and using a few simple filter and stutter effects to get you in and out of this great song!
07. BUBBA SPARXX – “Ms New Booty” (97 BPM)
Bubba’s back, this time with a little help from the Ying Yang Twins, with another crossover hit. “Ms New Booty” gets some restructuring from Marcus, adding a few vocal samples from the original song as well as a few well-placed samples from another Ying Yang hit that you’ll surely recognize.
08. E-40 – “Tell Me When To Go” (107 BPM)
E-40’s back with another club banger that’s sure to get your dance floors movin’! “Tell Me When To Go” gets a solid reworking from Ben, adding a clean intro and outro to this up-tempo hip-hop smash.
09. MARIAH CAREY (FEAT SNOOP DOGG) – “Say Somethin” (108 BPM)
The chain of hits from “The Emancipation Of Mimi” just doesn’t seem to end. Mariah’s fourth single from her multi-platinum album features Snoop this time around, and “Say Somethin” gets a nice retouch from Ben on Volume 2 by adding a little extra beef to the original song.
10. RIHANNA – “S.O.S.” (137 BPM)
Rihanna’s third single to date, “S.O.S.” is already a bona-fide smash hit; there’s just no getting away from it. Marcus gives us a simple club and mixshow friendly reworking of the song, complete with clean intro and outro as well as a few extra samples from the original Soft Cell tune (“Tainted Love”… but you knew that) featured in the song.
11. T.I. – “WHAT YOU KNOW” (138 BPM)
T.I.’s latest is already approaching the top of the urban and rhythm/crossover charts and “What You Know” gets a creative makeover from the Full Tilt team for Volume 2. Rather than remix the track at its original tempo, Marcus kicked it up double-time to deliver a “booty” style remix that’s sure to wreak havoc during your peak-hour sets!
12. DEM FRANCHISE BOYZ – “LEAN WIT IT ROCK WIT IT” (144 BPM)
A good idea seems worth repeating so… much like the T.I. remix, Ben here delivers a solid double-time remix of Dem Franchise Boyz’s latest. The tempo clocks in at 144 BPM and Ben added some major percussion to the original, giving “Lean Wit It…” a whole new sound and vibe.

"MY BIZARRE HUMPS" (124 BPM) – BREAK TRACK
"DON’T STOP THE BODYROCKERS" (128 BPM) – BREAK TRACK
Some of you may be wondering just what we’re up to here.  Well, the Full Tilt team itself loves dropping the occasional party break into their respective sets, and we figured we weren’t alone on that front.  So with a little bit of space left to spare on Volume 2, we decided to fill it up with some breaks of our own.

“My Bizarre Humps” is a simple transition piece that uses the beat from BEP’s ever-popular “My Humps” as well as a few vocal and synth samples from Bizarre Inc’s early-90s club classic “I’m Gonna Get You”.

“Don’t Stop The Bodyrockers”… well, let’s just say this: give it a quick listen and you’ll easily see where the title here comes from.  Again, another simple party break that’s ready to drop into your next set!

Time and space permitting, we plan to add a few of these to future issues as well – so if you like them, or if you have ideas for break tracks you’d like us to craft down the road, feel free to let us know!

"MS NEW BOOTY" (97 BPM) – LOOP TRACK
TELL ME WHEN TO GO (107 BPM) – LOOP TRACK
So with break tracks included, we decided to add two final goodies to the lineup for Volume 2 – loop tracks!  You know what they are, and judging from the inquiries we’ve received so far, we know that you’re looking for them!  So here they are – Ben gives us a quick bed/break loop from his E-40 remix, and Marcus delivers one from his Bubba Sparxx remix.

Truth be told, we had planned on adding a few to Volume 1 as well but uhh… well, we kinda forgot to! :)

But rest assured, this will be a regular and on-going feature for future releases!
